Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Process Plant Planning and Reliability Superintendent, you will be part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for the Maintenance Specialist group, which focuses on the development and standardization of work practices as well as QA/QC systems. Your primary task will be to develop and execute the process plant QA/QC program. The QA/QC program will encompass weekly, shutdown, and business partner processes. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Leading and supervising the maintenance specialist group;
- Work with supply chain and contracts teams in order to manage contract non-conformances;
Develop Processes for routine business partner shop audits such as:
- Initial shop qualification
- Routine shop audit grading
- Non-Comformance Reporting
- Equipment acceptance testing/Standards
- Support RCA investigations as required;
- Develop shutdown and weekly QA/QC systems
- Development of procedures and ITPs
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to improve safety, efficient execution of tasks, reduce costs and increase reliability;
- Assist in the creation of maintenance SOPs;
- Develop training plans with the maintenance specialists for our technicians;
- Analyze maintenance procedures and make recommendations to optimize effectiveness.
What You Need To Succeed
- Technical trade qualification in a Maintenance or Engineering field, coupled with a minimum of five years’ direct experience in a maintenance department;
- Expertise in equipment installation procedures and specifications;
- Proficient in interpreting condition monitoring data (oil analysis, vibration, thermography);
- Experience developing and rolling out business processes;
- Experience working with and managing business partners;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 7/7 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Frequent travel to business partner shops will be required;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
