Scope of work: Employee Experience [Onboarding, Off boarding & People Survey], Talent Attraction/EBP and Talent Analytics, Culture and DEI
Role Purpose:
As a part of the vision to build a safe & sustainable mining company, Vale is expanding growth in the APAC EME region (9 countries). This role is ideal for an enthusiast who creates an impact through talent agenda. The role supports pivotal talent areas at workplace – Employee Experience, Talent Attraction/EBP and Talent Analytics, Culture and DEI. The successful candidate is expected to create an external impact on Vale in the talent markets in terms of its visibility as an employer of choice. It requires a fine balance with strong stakeholder engagement to drive visible results and foster a thriving people experience.
Role Accountabilities:
- Operationalize Vale’s people strategy to include and transform
- Ensure strong partnership with HR Business partners in the region, via consistent active engagement for onboarding, offboarding and people survey
- Leverage analytics and employee feedback to shape talent strategy for employee experience, including collaboration with Total Rewards to ensure cohesive employee experience
- Execute the annual People Survey, including stakeholder briefings, survey rollout, data analysis, and action planning; monitor and evaluate the progress of each function action plans monthly, ensuring progress and results-driven improvements
- Act as a campus Ambassador for Vale in the region to grow our timber.
- Ensure employer brand proposition is competitive and well positioned, be a champion of Vale’s ambition and culture to the talent markets with ability to independently plan, execute, and track employer branding initiatives.
- Implement change management plans as a part of our culture evolution journey.
- Build talent analytics for talent, culture and DEI for the region
- Manage social media strategies to strengthen Vale’s visibility in the region
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field, with 7-10+ years in key Talent processes
- Strong proven track record of achievements in employee experience
- Excellent communication, strong influencing skills and value-driven stakeholder management
