Title: Regional Master Analyst, Talent Development - APAC Europe Middle East

Role Purpose:
As a part of the vision to build a safe & sustainable mining company, Vale is expanding growth in the APAC EME region (9 countries). This role is ideal for an experienced Talent Management specialist, with the ability to design and implement a range of power skills related learning programs, facilitate leadership development, ensure career development for both technical and non-technical talents and facilitate high-potential identification as a feed into conducting credible succession plans, with smart individual development plans in place. The successful candidate is anticipated to bring a strong impact to elevate and accelerate talent management for Vale in the region.
Role Accountabilities:
- Conduct organization-wide learning needs analysis using data-driven approaches and operationalize elevated capability building in alignment with the business
- Ensure intervention and facilitation of Vale’s flagship leadership development programs, including reviewing and enhancing program designs based on participant feedback and evolving business needs.
- Oversee vendor partnerships, procurement processes and ensure cost leadership.
- Develop and maintain learning and development related analytics dashboard.
- Support HR Business Partners to facilitate career conversations and provide guidance on development planning and acceleration of high-potential talents.
- Ensure individual development plans are managed based on defined normative.
- Apply defined methodological objective approach to carry out identification of high potentials.
- Intervention and facilitation for talent reviews and credible succession plans across the region.
- Ensure global Vale standards are deployed, where there is relevance in the region.
- Power Skills (Non-technical) Learning & Development Strategy, Leadership Development, High-Potential Identification, Career Development/Pathing, Individual Development Plan (IDP), Talent Review & Succession Planning.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field, with 12-15 years of talent development experience
- Strong proven track record of achievements
- Design-thinking capability to ensure real value creation for talent development
- Excellent communication skills with experience working in large organizations where technical capabilities are prevalent in the workforce
