About the role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Process Maintenance, the Supervisor, Maintenance Processing is responsible for leading maintenance crews and ensuring maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with departmental and company objectives. This role oversees shutdown ownership and management, schedule execution, trades supervision, continuous improvement, and ensuring all work meets EVR’s standards for safety, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence. This position follows a 4x4 schedule rotation of day shifts.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to all health and safety programs, procedures, and policies
- Lead full shutdown ownership and management, including job walkdowns, work assignments, contractor alignment, pre-shutdown meetings, readiness reviews, commissioning planning, and post-shutdown performance evaluations
- Manage daily and weekly maintenance schedules, including Short Interval Controls (SIC), ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to scope
- Collaborate closely with Maintenance Planners, the Scheduler, and the Materials Coordinator on day-to-day work execution, shutdown preparation, and overall maintenance performance
- Supervise employees and multiple contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget expectations
- Assist in sourcing, selecting, and requisitioning maintenance supplies, parts, equipment, and contracted services within approved budget guidelines
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by fostering strong compliance with EVR’s GCOM, No Plan No Work, Safe Coal programs, and all applicable regulatory requirements under the BC Mines Act
- Lead, mentor, and motivate crew members to achieve performance targets, support professional growth, and build a positive team culture through coaching and feedback
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for plant equipment to improve availability, reliability, and overall operational performance
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks (GCOM), and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and contribute to succession planning and workforce development
- Participate in industrial relations matters, incident investigations, and safety-related reviews
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Journeyperson's ticket, related technical diploma, or engineering degree
- Experience in execution, planning, and scheduling of maintenance work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite®, training in Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP will be provided
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
- Supervisory experience is considered an asset
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
