About The Role
We are looking for
Sr. Analyst – Statutory Accounts. In this role you will be responsible for accurate and timely completion of statutory accounts across multiple jurisdictions and coordination of deliverables with key stakeholders. This role will require ongoing monitoring of accounting standards and legislation to ensure financial reporting is completed in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Preparation of financial information and financial statements across Australia, United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada and other jurisdictions, for submission to the relevant legislative authorities
- Working in partnership with Controllership to co-ordinate external audit engagement including co-ordination of deliverables, audit queries and liaison with Tax and company secretarial team to ensure timely filing
- Prepare supporting workpapers to ensure accounts provide a true and fair view
- Participate in knowledge transition process and documentation of new scope during transitions
- XBRL tagging of UK HMRC submissions
- Work in close partnership with stakeholders to ensure expectations are met
- Ensures appropriate controls are executed across processes
- Ensures process documentation for statutory reporting is up to date and adequate internal trainings are provided where appropriate
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and recommendations
About You
To be successfully considered for this role, it is essential that you have the below attributes
- Finance and Accounting qualifications (MBA Finance or CA or CMA or CA/CMA Inter)
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in a financial reporting role within a large global organisation
- Statutory accounts preparation experience essential
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Solid understanding of key accounting concepts
- Practical experience with SAP and Workiva Accounts Production (or other statutory reporting software) and XBRL tagging of accounts would be beneficial.
- Proven ability to work with a diverse and global team to achieve outcomes through collaboration
- Relationship and stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
