Invincible Underground is undergoing a significant growth phase with an ever-expanding orebody open at both strike and depth. With complex geology, large-scale capital projects and a dynamic mine design to adapt to, this role offers a rare challenge for candidates looking to make a difference and influence the future direction of a relatively new mine, in a rewarding environment.
Reporting to the Alternate Underground Manager, you will facilitate the safe and optimal extraction of gold from underground mining operations. In compliance with site Environmental and Safety Standards, you will be responsible for all mining aspects, including the development and implementation of plans in line with short to medium term planning targets.

What You’ll Do
- Assist in developing and implementing weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans, while supervising stope design and drill-and-blast planning to maximise recovery and minimise dilution.
- Develop and implement short- to medium-term production plans while overseeing stope design and drill-and-blast planning to optimise recovery and minimise dilution.
- Lead and mentor the team to add further value to the Technical Services team.
What You’ll Bring
- An autonomous, driven, and safety-conscious individual who is willing to share knowledge with others
- Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering and a manual driver's license
- First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency is desirable.
- High level of skills displayed in Deswik CAD, Deswik SO and Deswik IS.
- Extensive underground mining experience in production, ventilation, projects, paste fill, planning and scheduling
