Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Assist in the month/ quarter and year end financial closes;
- Responsible for the system administration of our HRIS system (Success factors/SAP) to ensure the system is used strategically and efficiently;
- Work closely with the mine site HR team to ensure they understand the system and functionality: including HR and Payroll business processes, HR analytics, and will lead the team on system issue resolution, implementation of new modules/functionality, release management and business change management;
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the Success Factors platform; troubleshoot and report issues as needed;
- Serve as a key resource on HRIS projects with a focus on business data and processes;
- Conduct audits to ensure data consistency and accuracy;
- Oversee the maintenance of employee-related databases. Support the configuration and implementation of systems, modules, data feeds and on-going technology enhancements as required and requested;
- Be a resource person to HR staff with respect to HR policies and items that could affect the HRIS;
- Establish strong relationships by delivering quality and timely service to staff at all levels of the organization;
- Participate in the planning, development and implementation of HR programs, policies and procedures;
- Support the management of employee data and reporting;
- Participate in annual HR cycles and special projects;
- Assist in all HR administrative duties as a back fill as required;
- Travel to site as mutually agreed upon.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or HRIS management;
- Certified Human Resources Professional or Leader designation is considered an asset;
- Five to eight years of related experience in a generalist capacity, with experience in employee relations;
- Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Office and ERP (SAP) software.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
