KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Executive Finance
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To provide input into and execute on the company’s financial strategy in line with shareholders’ commercial aspirations. The incumbent monitors and reports on the financial health of the company, mitigates risk, manages financial and commercial reporting and ensures that the company is run responsibly. The Finance Executive manages managers and the scope of the role includes Finance, Supply Chain, Payroll, Management Accounting and Financial reporting, Camp and Facilities Management and Technology.
You will have the following:
- Must have a Post qualification in Accountancy and Finance
- Must be Professional qualified in Accountancy and Finance (Chartered Accountant “CA”/ Certified Public Accountant “CPA)
- Must have at least 10 - 15 years' experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Must have at least 10 years’ experience in the mining environment
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous.
