Introduction
Metso, a global leader in sustainable technologies, comprehensive solutions, and services for the minerals processing, aggregates, metal recycling, and waste management industries, is looking for an Accountant in Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar.
In this position you will report to Country Controller.
Responsibilities and Duties on this position:
• Statutory accounting activities for Metso Mongolia
• Implements and ensures that Metso accounting policies are followed
• IFRS reporting towards Metso group
• Balance sheet reconciliations for the local legal entity
• Timely month end closing according to Metso Group timetable with good quality
• Manages compliance and internal controls within own area
• Participates in audits and prepares audit materials
• Participates to projects on accounting area or on related topics
• Advises Business Units on accounting and tax-related issues
• Prepare payroll calculations and related statutory reporting
• Archive accounting documents in acoordance with local legislation
To succeed in this position, you will need:
• Higher education in Accounting
• Fluency in English, a good command of Russian will be an advantage
• Good understanding of IFRS, local legislation and accounting processes
• MS Office tools (Excel, etc.), SAP knowledge will be an advantage
• Good analytical skills, customer service mindset
• A friendly and open attitude
