The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Accommodations Coordinator for the end-to-end management of the employee housing experience. While the physical maintenance and facilities operations are managed by a separate group, this role serves as the primary advocate and HR point of contact for employees residing in company provided housing.
The focus of this role is to manage occupancy logistics, uphold standards, and foster a living environment that supports employee well-being, mental health, and retention. You will act as the bridge between the employees and the facilities team to ensure that housing solutions, ranging from camp to off-site apartments, trailers, etc, meet the human needs of our workforce.
The role is located in the vibrant community of Snow Lake, MB on a 5 days on/2 days off schedule.
The position includes a competitive compensation package which includes benefits, pension, profit sharing, employee share purchase plan among others.

1. Occupancy Strategy & People Logistics
- Manage the booking system for all camp rooms and off-site housing (apartments, condos, houses).
- Manage the process and procedure for assigning housing and maintain enforcement of the process and procedures.
- Coordinate "check-in/check-out" procedures and room assignments for various shift rotations.
- Track occupancy rates and forecast future housing needs based on project ramp-ups.
2. Service Quality Advocacy
- Monitor the impact of third-party vendors (catering, cleaning, and maintenance) on the employee experience. Act as the primary contact for employees when food quality or housekeeping standards do not meet expectations.
- Conduct regular "resident-perspective" inspections to ensure units are appropriately furnished, comfortable and clean, escalating maintenance needs to the Facilities Group.
- Oversee the procurement of furniture, linens, appliances and cleaning schedule for non-camp housing.
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with Camp Management and Facilities to ensure that employee feedback is translated into actionable service improvements.
3. Administration & HR Reporting
- Serve as the central hub for all housing-related announcements, policy changes, and feedback loops.
- Design and lead recreational initiatives, social events, and mental health/wellness programs to boost morale and foster a sense of community for remote workers.
- Maintain accurate records of room assignments and occupancy data, keys, assets and housing inventory.
- Assist with the management of the employee-facing portion of the accommodation budget.
