JOB TITLE : Senior Specialist LAN/VOICE/LTE/MESH Networks
LOCATION : Johannesburg
REPORTS TO : Manager: Networks & Communications Operation
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a senior enterprise network specialist who will be accountable for the strategic design, governance, deployment, and optimisation of LAN, Voice, LTE, and Mesh network infrastructure. The position plays a critical role in enabling business productivity and operational resilience through structured technology roadmapping, standards development, enterprise-scale infrastructure delivery, and technical leadership within a globally distributed operating environment.
WORK ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and maintain network technology roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks
- Design, deploy, and support LAN/Voice/LTE/Mesh infrastructure solutions
- Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and technical optimisation
- Provide technical leadership, training guidance, and capability development
- Support enterprise-scale network build, scaling, and monitoring initiatives
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- 7+ years’ experience in a network IT environment
- Proven experience in LAN, Voice, LTE, and Mesh network design
- Strong Cisco technology exposure
- Configuration management and enterprise network operations experience
- Experience working in globally distributed organisations
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- Relevant network certification
