We are looking for an Advisor, Land who will support land access, land tenure, and mineral rights management across RTX programs in the United States. This role ensures that existing land holdings remain compliant, accessible, and strategically managed, while also supporting due diligence for new land opportunities.
Reporting to the Principal Advisor, Land & Tenure, you will
- Support land access, land tenure, and mineral rights activities across RTX programs, ensuring compliance and proper governance.
- Conduct land due diligence for new opportunities, including assessing legal, regulatory, and contractual considerations.
- Assists in the development and implementation of strategies for land acquisition and access rights (including third parties).
- Coordinate contracts, agreements, and approvals related to land access and third‑party obligations.
- Collaborate closely with operational, commercial, and regulatory teams while building strong relationships with external agencies.
- Develops and maintains schedules for required approvals and compliance obligations utilizing existing systems, procedures and processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of managing mineral rights, land tenure and land access compliance.
- Provide operational support within the US on land access and mineral rights obligations/compliance issues and ensuring awareness among other support areas (e.g. accounting, legal and commercial) of mineral rights and land access issues as they relate to those roles.
What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field –e.g., Environmental Engineering, Law, Public Policy, or related field (required).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in land access, land management, mineral rights, permitting, or related mining‑industry functions.
- A good understanding of land access, mineral rights, and the regulatory considerations that apply across different jurisdictions.
- Proficiency with tools such as Landfolio and GIS platforms, or the ability to quickly learn them.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong documentation discipline.
- A collaborative, open‑minded, and relationship‑driven approach to working with internal teams and external regulatory/government bodies.
- Ability to navigate complex and evolving land governance issues with sound judgment, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
