Your Impact
As the Advisor for Audio/Visual & Events, you will ensure seamless operation of Newmont’s audio/visual systems, collaboration technologies, and event support—primarily within the Denver Hub and across global sites. Your work directly supports Executive leadership, Town Halls, global meetings, and end-user technical needs, enabling high-quality communication and engagement across the organization.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
Design, deploy, operate, and support enterprise-grade A/V systems, video conferencing tools, and meeting room technology across global hubs.
Provide hands-on technical support for Executive leadership, Board-related events, Town Halls, and VIP meetings.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laptops, conferencing systems, printers, scanners, displays, and other end-user equipment.
Partner with Unified Communications, Digital teams, regional IT, and site staff to support events and maintain stable collaboration systems.
Maintain A/V equipment lifecycle processes including configuration, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and documentation.
Escalate incidents when required and ensure timely resolution to meet KPI and user satisfaction targets.
Participate in the deployment and maintenance of end-user devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices).
Support site components of regional and global IT projects, collaborating with vendors and contractors.
Champion safety through Newmont’s Always Safe program and promote inclusive, high-quality customer service.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Strong technical experience with enterprise meeting room systems, video conferencing solutions, and A/V design and troubleshooting.
Ability to support Executive-level users with professionalism, discretion, and urgency.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving application, hardware, and device issues.
Experience configuring and supporting end-user devices (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile).
Working knowledge of IT service management processes (incident, request, escalation).
Strong communication, customer-service orientation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and global stakeholders.
Ability to travel occasionally to operational sites and hubs as required.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $86,500- 115,300. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
