Earth Sciences and Engineering specializes in site planning, spatial information and digital terrain modeling, surface and subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground structures, geotechnical laboratory services, flood forecasting and water resource management through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise.
We are seeking an Environmental, People, and Place new graduate who combines strong leadership, engagement management, and team collaboration skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. In this role you will take ownership of tasks required for project delivery, collaborate with other Analysts and Consultants and provide support for Project Managers and Senior Leaders in the group. Projects tasks may include undertaking and communicating foundational research, implementing research approaches as defined by project leadership teams, and communicating research findings in the form of concise memoranda, presentations, charts and graphics.
Types of analyses we work on include:

Environmental engineering analyses, including air, noise, soil, water, and waste management

Project development and design that mitigates impacts to air, noise, soil, and water, including the determination of applicable environmental legislation and standards, specification of environmental design criteria, collection of baseline environmental data, and modelling and assessment of potential effects

Preparation of technical reports, including those calculations and modelling of impacts for air quality, noise, soil and groundwater contamination, and surface water

Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of environmental policy, environmental science/engineering, urban planning, real estate, economics, and/or land use.

Quantitative skills; experience with quantitative modeling (e.g., environmental, climate change, financial, real estate and economic analysis/modeling).

Detail-oriented and outcome focused with a willingness to collaborate within and beyond the internal team and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline driven environment. An entrepreneurial and "can do" attitude, with an ability to work toward solutions despite real world constraints of limited data. Work collaboratively with integrated, multidisciplinary teams, liaising with and supporting global peers.

Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, ideally with basic InDesign familiarity.

A recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science/Studies, Environmental Planning, Economics, Urban Planning/Studies, Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or a similar field.

Ability to apply your skills to challenging, interesting, and meaningful projects, while working alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people
