About The Role
We are looking for an
Administrator to join and support our site operations team in Paraburdoo.
This role is full of rewarding challenges and role diversity. A truly fantastic opportunity to showcase your strong administrative skills in this varied role.
You’ll work an 8 days on, 6 days off roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the
Supervisor Administration and working in a collaborative team, you will
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices
- Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails and adhoc queries to relevant team / personnel
- Provide ticket management support to the site and functional partners e.g. processing travel requests, ad-hoc roster changes and clothing uniform orders
- Utilise SAP to raise general purchase requisitions, order and maintain stock of PPE and stationery, and manage invoices
- Utilise Prospect to raise maintenance notifications e.g. for light vehicle and infrastructure maintenance tasks
- Provide onboarding support for category 2/3 contractors, including submission of contractor hire forms, site entry forms, purchase requestions for labour and managing flights and accommodation
- Perform other adhoc activities to support the site,e.g.management of room bookings, new starter packs; processing gate cards, IVMS, fuel keys and cab charges
What You’ll Bring
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative, scheduling, ordering, planning and coordination skills and flexibility to support sitewide services as required
- Knowledge of relevant work management and business systems or similar (desirable)
- Strong customer service, time management and organisational skills
- Effective workload prioritisation and ability to work unsupervised
- A current Australian ‘C’ class driver's license
