Position Description
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a Winder Mechanical Specialist to ensure activities in the Engineering – Shaft Section are effectively planned and undertaken safely and cost-effectively to achieve targets in accordance with BGML Mining Safety Standards, Policies, and Procedures.

Report to: Mechanical Engineering
Duration: Fixed
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain all winders and shaft equipment to reduce unplanned maintenance and optimize availability
- Overhaul winders and shaft equipment in accordance with set company policies and procedures
- Complete required testing and safety checks on winders and shaft equipmen t
- Attend to breakdowns and c omplete necessary fault finding
- Carry out defined and necessary checks on winders and shaft equipment
Qualification Requirements
- FTC certificate or Trade certificate in Mechanical from a recognized training institution.
- Must possess a valid Tanzania Driving Licence Class D & E or C
Experience And Skills Requirements
- 5 Years’ experience as a Winder Mechanical in mining or related industry. Underground mining experience is added as an advantage
- PLC Knowledge is an added advantage
- Excellent Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent Knowledge of Winder Drives, Safety Circuit system , and Troubleshooting.
- Thorough knowledge of winder operation and reticulation drawings, shaft operation and reticulation drawings, rock breaker operation and load out operation.
- Computer literate in the Microsoft Package Applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio Com
