Summary:
Reporting to the contractor coordinator, is responsible for ensuring compliance of all contractors with site rules, regulations and FQM group policies. This role oversees the contractor personnel onboarding process, identifies risks and ensures timely reporting and resolution of compliance issues.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with contractors' administrators, managers, employees, governmental and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and company procedures throughout the contractor's engagement.
Influence and contribute to proposed initiatives for improving overall effectiveness, leveraging analytical skills to identify optimization opportunities, develop strategic plans, and drive continuous improvement across contractor-related processes.
Generates comprehensive reports related to contractor personnel and site access, utilizing data analysis techniques to identify trends, highlight areas of improvement, and provide strategic recommendations for enhanced operational effectiveness.
Provide guidance on company's site rules and internal policies to contractors, while actively identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic enhancements to maximize operational effectiveness.
Manage the compliance process on Contractor Management System for all pre-commencement activities, leveraging data analysis and insights to identify trends, streamline workflows, and enhance overall compliance procedures.
Advise contractors and stakeholders on TTP (Temporary Technician Permit) and work permit paperwork applications, together with the internal Immigration department.
Update information on Contractor Management Systems.
Oversee the integration and updates of new modules in Contractor Management System.
Enforce and ensure contractors compliance regarding, company policies, internal rules, vehicle use, security and health requisites before arriving to site and through sponsorship departments.
Perform any additional tasks as required by the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Commercial Contracts, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources discipline or similar.
Experience of at least 3 years in a mine-site or similar industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Relevant experience with contractor management / access systems.
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
Strong knowledge of administrative practices.
Excellent organizational skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Familiarity with ERP systems and experience with JDE Oracle is a plus.
