Senior Specialist – Discipline Trainer is responsible for overseeing training related activities at the plant related primarily to Operations and Technical roles. The
Senior Specialist - Discipline Trainer reports to the Section Head of
The Discipline Training Department to ensure an alignment with the managers of operation departments related to the training requirements to be identified to ensure all key induction elements are completed when a new employee starts in their role. Responsible for observing and evaluating competencies of operators assigned to training program.Organizes one-on-one training as necessary, for specific equipment or procedures and specific individuals, on a case-by-case basis, Responsible to monitor and control overall employee JQP training by supporting and assigning training resources, Preparation and controlling the assessment/test materials.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in Maintenance Management, or a related field.
- Engineering, technical, training Certifications (Preferred).
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in Maintenance Management, or a related field.
- Engineering, technical, training Certifications (Preferred).
Skills
- Supervisory level experience.
- Previous direct training experience in a plant environment is an asset.
- Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies and assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills.
- Proficiency in developing training materials and reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of technical training department at MWSPC sites to ensure all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering the appropriate quality and targeted objectives.
- Identifies inadequate competency performance and provides one-on-one coaching and training to resolve deficiency.
- On-the-job site meets individual trainees and assesses specific competency by observing a demonstration of a particular skill. Asks for verbal answers to specific competency-based knowledge.
- Assist in improving training skills of assigned on-the-job Work Supervisors (those individuals responsible for the hour-to-hour, day-to-day, work activities of the assigned trainee)
- Assist the First Line Supervisors by monitoring and assessing the general performance capabilities of trainees and to periodically conduct re-evaluation of existing operational staff.
- Upon completion of the individual competency program, schedules Shift Supervisor and other pertinent representatives to observe competency demonstration by trainee and to participate in the verification interview for assessing that the trainee is fully competent to handle assigned job.
- Coaches and develop trainees and First Line Supervisors to promote individual growth and promote internal succession in line with Saudization objectives.
- Will be the main unit responsible for guiding and directing the training process during the pre-qualification period (JQP Program).
