Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Saudi National HSE Engineer to join our team in AlUla. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving health, safety, and environmental compliance across our construction operations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Your role
- Oversee and enforce HSE policies and procedures throughout all construction activities.
- Conduct rigorous site inspections and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Review and maintain comprehensive HSE documentation, including incident reports, HSE plans, and regulatory logs.
- Lead investigations into incidents, near-misses, and accidents, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
- Provide essential HSE training and guidance to project team.
- Ensure strict adherence to both local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Collaborate closely with the HSE team to maintain continuity and consistency in safety practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the environmental impact of construction activities to ensure sustainability compliance.
- Lead emergency response efforts and coordinate with relevant authorities when necessary.
- Prepare and present detailed HSE performance reports to senior management.
About you
- Saudi National
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH certification or an equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HSE roles.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and environmental impact assessments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
