Your Impact
You will play a key role in delivering Newmont’s Total Rewards programs by supporting compensation cycles, incentive and recognition programs, and global benefits administration. Your work ensures our reward programs are accurate, competitive, compliant, and consistently delivered—helping attract, motivate, and retain talent across our global workforce.
As part of our team, you will
- Support the end-to-end annual compensation and performance planning cycles, including merit, promotions, and bonus payouts
- Assist with the delivery of short-term and long-term incentive and recognition programs, including eligibility tracking, payout calculations, and reporting
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to support competitive compensation and incentive design
- Administer select global benefits programs (such as Medical Benefits Abroad and EAP), including vendor coordination and employee inquiries
- Partner closely with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely program delivery
- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and reporting to support operational excellence and compliance
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support system and data accuracy initiatives
Prerequisites for your success in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or a related HR discipline
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis, benchmarking, and data reporting
- Proficiency with Excel and HR systems (e.g., HRIS, compensation or market pricing tools)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Your Work Environment
This role operates within Newmont’s global People function and works closely with Total Rewards leaders, HR partners, Finance, Payroll, HRIS, and external vendors. You will have a high degree of autonomy while working within established frameworks, policies, and global standards.
The preferred location for candidates is near our corporate headquarters, in Denver, Colorado

The salary range offered for this role is USD $86,500- 115,300. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
