About The Role
We are looking for an Area Training Coordinator to develop, maintain, and manage training materials, Individual Training Plans (ITPs), and qualification programs for trainees within the assigned area.
This is a great opportunity for someone with prior experience in chemical processing or manufacturing who is interested in translating hands-on operational knowledge into effective training materials across multiple departments. The role is ideal for a professional who enjoys knowledge sharing, process standardization, and supporting workforce development.
About The Role
Reporting to the Sr. Site Training Coordinator and working in a collaborative community, a challenging and exciting environment, you will
- Assist the senior site training coordinator with developing documented programs and maintaining accuracy when operations processes and tasks change
- Maintain operator qualification, individual training plans (ITPs) and associated training documents
- Communicate trainees’ progression with area management team as needed
- Work with the senior site training coordinator for additional training when needed and develop action plans accordingly.
- Schedule and facilitate operator gap assessments, qualification tests and re-qualifications as required
- Provide additional methods and tools to support trainees
- Track KPIs in assigned area and report to the supervisor senior site training coordinator
- Assist training team with new hire onboarding
- Conduct PUAPs to ensure training is aligned with task specific SOPs
- Assist the senior site training coordinator as needed.
About You
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in process manufacturing (Chemical industry preferred)
- Strong experience using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Experience working as a Trainer is a plus.
