The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Commercial Analyst II, to support and ensure the execution of all functions that contribute to the business unit through the accomplishment and enhancements of logistic administration processes and following strict adherence to corporate governance and compliance policies. The Analyst conducts function such as the truck and containers booking, coordination of the loadings date based on production, communication of any loading or arrival delay, invoice processing related activities for the UK Nickel shipments to UK, Europe and Asia
This is Fixed-term position for maximal duration of 18-24 months
Additionally, in this position you will:
- This position will be responsible for all shipments of UK finished product materiel for customer portfolio based in UK, Europe and Asia.
- Input contractual conditions into SAP and process invoices
- Produce and share shipping documents in a timely manner with the carriers
- Work with Back office team based in Asia and Europe
- Ensure compliance with supplier contract terms with a focus on efficient performance.
- Ensure adherence with the established procedures, internal / legal guidelines and Sarbanes Oxley (SARBOX), aiming to comply with company rules, local legislation and internal / external audits.
- Identify improvement opportunities, establishing intra or inter departmental solutions and procedures.
- Support, analyze, provide KPIs, databases and key controls aiming at the treatment of deviations and continuous improvement plans.
About You
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline is required
Experience:
- 8-15 years of experience in the field
Skills:
- Must be deadline driven, organized and able to define the right priorities , pay attention to details
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiples teams.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively “outside the box”.
- Fluent written/spoken in English (French is a plus).
- Good knowledge of Supply chain, container and Trucking shipments, warehousing understanding in customs clearance process
