In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensure operational task are done within specified time to ensure set production targets are achieved.
- Ensuring that specified product quality requirements are met which meet customer expectations.
- Optimising, overseeing and continually improve the operation of the plant by subordinates.
- Ensuring that good housekeeping and process related maintenance of the plant is conducted diligently.
- Identifying training requirements for the plant personnel, organising, and controlling all activities of subordinates, and provide strong leadership with respect to legal responsibility of the Plant.
- Applicable 2.9.2 legal appointment
- Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirement, and the company standards/policies.
- Reporting all functions to the Plant Superintendent and the Metallurgical Coordinators daily.
