Responsibilities
- Design and plan drainage systems for various projects
- Conduct research and analysis of drainage systems to optimize performance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate drainage systems into project designs
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met for drainage construction
- Develop project schedules and budgets for drainage systems
- Participate in project meetings to report progress and provide technical support
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors
- Independently evaluates, selects, and applies engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for continuous and single-event rainfall modeling.
- Analysis of basins, hydrographs, development and routing of maximum discharges
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 1 to 5 years of experience in drainage engineering
- Pavement drainage, culverts, storm systems, pump stations, bridge sizing, sediment transport, revetment design, and coastal considerations for highway drainage
- Software expertise includes: HEC-RAS, Q-GIS
- Experience with international codes desirable (AASHTO, DOT)
- B1 English
