PMO Lead – Data Center Construction
We’re looking for an experienced PMO Lead to provide governance, coordination, and delivery oversight across developer‑led data center construction programs. This role ensures schedules, risk management, change control, and quality gates are fully aligned to deliver predictable outcomes across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
You’ll act as the single source of truth for project status and decisions, driving structure, transparency, and accountability across internal teams and external delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and run PMO cadence, including weekly reviews, risk sessions, executive updates, and change control.
- Own integrated master schedules, aligning GC and vendor inputs with critical milestones, long‑leads, and commissioning activities.
- Lead risk, issue, and change management, preventing scope creep and protecting schedule, quality, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with cost, sourcing, and contracts teams to align commitments, earned value, and cash flow with schedule progress.
- Produce clear reporting and dashboards covering schedule, cost, quality, risk, and key delivery gates.
- Coordinate across technical authorities, QA/QC, commissioning, construction teams, and external partners to resolve conflicts and drive decisions.
- Ensure quality, commissioning, and turnover activities are sequenced correctly and support first‑pass acceptance.
- Maintain compliance documentation and oversee security onboarding requirements for vendors and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 6–10 years of project or program management experience in mission‑critical construction environments.
- Strong background in PMO governance, integrated scheduling, risk/change control, and executive reporting.
- Proficiency with project controls and reporting tools (e.g., P6/MS Project, Excel, Power BI/Tableau).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
