- Applicable Engineering Aid Certificate
Skills Requirements
- Relevant experience in heavy industry, gained preferably in a furnace smelting operation
- Good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, Initiative
- Knowledge of the HSEC system
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be reporting to the Artisan (Boilermaker) for the following:
- Assistance in maintaining and repairing plant equipment and installing new equipment when required
- Assistance in planned maintenance system inspection with artisan
- Overtime will be worked when so required
- Shift work can be expected during shutdowns
- Standby work will be worked when so required
- Adhering to safety rules and regulations. Ensuring proper shift take over
