Electrical Technician – Gas Turbines (TM2500 / LM2500 / LM6000)

The Opportunity
We are looking for skilled Electrical Technicians to join a major power generation project in Utah. You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting gas turbine generator systems within a fast-moving, high-demand environment.
This position is ideal for technicians experienced in turbine electrical systems and controls, particularly within temporary or modular power setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems on gas turbine units
- Work on TM2500 (preferred), LM2500 or LM6000 platforms
- Support commissioning, synchronisation, and start-up activities
- Diagnose faults across generators, switchgear, MCCs, and transformers
- Work with control systems and instrumentation (I&C)
- Perform loop checks, calibration, and testing
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams
- Follow all electrical safety and LOTO procedures
Requirements
- Experience with gas turbine electrical systems:
- TM2500 preferred
- LM2500 or LM6000 acceptable
- Strong background in power generation or heavy industrial environments
- Knowledge of turbine control systems (e.g., GE systems preferred)
- Experience with high-voltage systems is advantageous
- Electrical qualification or apprenticeship
