About The Role
We are actively seeking 2 Recruiters on a 12 month fixed-term contract. The Recruiter is pivotal in sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified professionals who contribute to the success and growth of the Cote Gold operation. The Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders throughout the recruitment life cycle and ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
This position is located at our Cote Gold Sudbury Office on a Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing through offer acceptance.
- Proactively source talent using multiple channels to build and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
- Screen applications and conduct interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and role fit.
- Coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Oversee pre-employment requirements, including references, background checks, medicals, and compliance with employment legislation.
- Coordinate all onboarding activities, including PPE orders, orientation registration, IT access, and employee file completion.
- Partner closely with HR team members and hiring leaders to provide updates, align on priorities, and support workforce planning.
- Leverage data and insights to enhance recruitment strategies, improve hiring efficiency, and deliver a positive candidate experience.
Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
Relevant Experience
At least 1 year of experience in recruitment or in a similar role, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sector.
Skills & Strengths, We Value
Understanding of the mining industry and specific roles within it.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS and other recruitment software/tools.

Salary Range: $70,800-$106,200
The final offer is determined based on your individual skills, qualifications, and competencies and aligned with our commitment to internal equity.
