Overview
AtkinsRealis is looking for an Intern, to join drainage infrastructure team who is enthusiastic and open to learn and grow with the given opportunity.
Your role
- Work as part of Atkins Land development team.
- Work on a range of projects relating to storm network modelling, drainage infrastructure design and planning from the Bengaluru/Gurugram office.
- Work to high standards, ensuring the right first-time delivery.
- Ownership of the work of self.
- Contribute to technical discussions/meetings positively through knowledge sharing.
About you
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resource and Environmental Engineering from a recognised University.
- Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of drainage infrastructure and related issues, including, hydraulics and hydrology.
- Demonstrable knowledge of network design or hydraulic modelling as part of academic projects.
- Experience in using design or hydraulic modelling software for academic projects (PCSWMM, HECRAS or Bentley suite of software) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS is preferred.
- Good report writing skills and fluency in English.
