Job Description
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to all employees at the Redpath Raiseboring Shop Complex and also all raiseboring field projects.
This position is offered as a 16-month contract.
Successful applicant will be required to successfully complete pre-employment drug, alcohol and medical evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Assist employees at the Raisebore Shop and office with general office duties
- Share general company-wide notices with employees, distribute mail
- Input daily data entries into various systems
- Control of documents in EDMS
- Maintain a positive Redpath friendly atmosphere with co-workers, visitors and vendors,
- Enter timesheets of Raisebore Shops and projects employees into payroll system
- Organize and file documentation received from Raisebore projects
- Accountable for completion of weekly, monthly and yearly footage reports
- Frequent communication with site personnel
- Arrange required travel (flights, rental vehicles, accommodations) for Raisebore personnel
- Coordinate with Marketing in maintaining inventory of Redpath promotional items
- Pick, package, and forward marketing merchandise orders received from employees
- Forward payroll deduction information to finance and payroll
- Maintain list of sales and manufactured machines
- Coordinate annual Redpath Golf Tournament and annual Redpath Curling Bonspiel
- Order supplies for Raisebore Shop and office (stationery, coffee supplies, etc.)
- Attend/chair meetings, take and prepare minutes and distribute them in a timely manner
Salary Range (Base): $53,500 - $73,500 - Based on knowledge, skills and experience.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: High School diploma paired with relevant experience
- Preferred: College diploma in Office Administration
Work Experience
- Required: One year office-related experience
- Preferred: 1 year office experience in a shop or industrial environment
