Minimum Requirements
Matric certificate/ equivalent
Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) or
Current MCSE (Entra and Azure experience)
CCNA
ITIL Foundations ver. 4
Medically fit (Will be subjected to a medical examination)
Ability to work at heights
Drivers license and reliable transportation
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Information Technology
Strong knowledge of computers and how they operate, which includes a broad understanding of hardware and software, operating systems and basic computer programming
Extensive knowledge of IT Security
Good problem solving skills; ability to visualise a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it
Excellent record keeping
Ability to handle constantly changing flow of IT traffic; remain productive during slow times, be able to multi-task effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations
Roles & Responsibilities
Resolve IT related incidents or escalate those issues that the IT personnel is unable to resolve
IT inventory list and Route Forms are up to date and accurate
Ensure IT policies & procedures are enforced
Installation of stakeholder hardware & software
Ensure network permissions are in place
Manage & maintain office automation equipment
Support external users in relation to connectivity & IT support
Travel to sites when required
