The Coeur Rochester mine located in Nevada, just 30 miles northwest of Lovelock, NV is seeking a Process Supervisor to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct efficient and effective MOS Communication meetings daily to monitor key KPI’s that follow Coeur Mining Inc. guidelines and requirements.
- Manage and coordinate the operation of the leach pads and process plant to meet and exceed budgeted throughput, grades, recoveries, and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures and relevant regulations and permitting requirements.
- Report safety, environmental and production variances to management in a timely manner.
- Promote a culture of excellence with respect to environmental stewardship and safety compliance to be consistent with company sustainability policies and procedures.
- Provide training and mentoring to process lead person to manage employees, process targets, and compliance responsibilities.
- Accurately complete and manage all required reports.
- Successfully collaborate with all departments in ensuring all safety, environmental and production needs are met and/or exceeded.
- Develop and execute performance goals and development plans for each direct report in line with the direction and values of Coeur Rochester.
- Ensure the weekly job plan is executed as laid out by the Process General Supervisor.
- Ensure that each employee and/or contractor maintains a safe working environment by conducting Leadership in the Field safety audits, completing FLRA inspections, safety meetings and completing daily field checks.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Approximately 5-7 years of processing experience in a mining or heavy industrial setting preferred.
- Approximately 3-5 years of leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
- Able to operate computers, and other technical instruments as necessary.
- Proficiency in GoCanvas use and data entry.
- Proficiency in Oracle or similar purchasing, procurement, and maintenance software.
- Proficiency in Intelex use for safety and environmental reporting.
- Proficiency in Simply Works timekeeping software.

- Rotating Shifts: 5 Days On, 4 Days Off / 4 Days On, 5 Days Off (12-hour shifts)
- Quarterly bonus up to $4,100 (up to $16,400 annually)
