Wood \ Hexagon is currently sourcing for a Logistics & Operations Coordinator to join our team in Equatorial Guinea.
The Logistics & Operations Coordinator serves as the primary operational support resource for the Country Office and is responsible for the effective coordination of transportation, logistics, facilities, contractor management, asset control, community investment activities, and office operational support services.
The role acts as a key interface between the Country Office, service providers, contractors, community stakeholders, government representatives, and business partners. The incumbent is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercise sound judgment, and proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, strengthen service delivery, and support achievement of company objectives.
The Logistics & Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining operational readiness, supporting stakeholder engagements, coordinating community investment activities, ensuring effective management of company assets and facilities, and providing logistical support to the Country Manager, visiting executives, and corporate personnel.
This position is only open to National Equatorial Guinea personnel.

Rotation \ Work Pattern: Residential position 6-day week \ 8-hour day
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Transportation & Logistics
- Coordinate transportation activities for employees, visitors, contractors, and company guests.
- Plan and coordinate airport transfers, visitor logistics, transportation schedules, and travel support requirements.
- Coordinate movement of materials, equipment, supplies, and documentation to support office and project activities.
- Support logistics requirements for meetings, workshops, government engagements, partner visits, and stakeholder events.
- Maintain transportation records, logistics documentation, and operational support records.
Vehicle & Fleet Management
- Ensure company vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operationally ready.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, registrations, licensing, and insurance requirements.
- Monitor vehicle operating costs, fuel consumption, and maintenance performance.
- Maintain vehicle records and recommend replacement, repair, and improvement requirements when appropriate.
Facilities Management
- Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of office facilities, equipment, and support infrastructure.
- Manage relationships with landlords, maintenance contractors, utility providers, and facility service vendors.
- Monitor facility performance and coordinate repairs, improvements, and service requirements.
Contractor & Vendor Coordination
- Serve as the primary operational interface for local contractors, vendors, and service providers, coordinating activities, monitoring performance, supporting supplier evaluations, and verifying completion of work and services in accordance with company requirements.
Procurement & Asset Management
- Support local procurement activities and supplier coordination in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate receipt, storage, delivery, and tracking of company materials and equipment.
- Maintain inventories and asset registers for vehicles, equipment, furniture, and office assets.
- Support periodic inventory verification activities and asset audits.
Community & CSR Support
- Coordinate logistics and support activities associated with company Community and Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- Participate in project site visits and maintain effective working relationships with community representatives, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
Assist with monitoring project activities, collecting project information, and preparing CSR reports and presentations.
Office Safety & Operational Readiness
- Promote safe work practices and support implementation of company safety procedures.
- Conduct routine office safety inspections and monitor office readiness requirements.
- Maintain emergency response equipment records and support office preparedness activities.
Stakeholder & Business Support
- Support government visits, partner meetings, executive visits, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
- Coordinate logistics and operational support requirements for visiting executives, corporate personnel, and business partners.
- Represent the company professionally in interactions with government agencies, contractors, vendors, community representatives, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications

Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
Knowledge, Job Specific Skills & Experience
- Experience in the oil and gas, energy, engineering, construction, or project-based sectors.
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Experience maintaining operational records, inventories, and asset management systems.
PC Application Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Desirable
- English and Spanish language proficiency
- Experience supporting Community and Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives or community development projects.
- Experience interacting with government agencies, community representatives, and external stakeholders.
- Experience working within multinational corporate environments.
