Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Integrated Operations Superintendent, you will be part of the Integrated Operations Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Deliver actionable analytics and reporting that support day-to-day operational decision-making across mining, maintenance, and crushing activities;
- Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports that drive operational performance and visibility across the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC);
- Partner closely with dispatchers, planners, operators, and site leadership to understand operational challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions;
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities for productivity, reliability, and efficiency improvements;
- Support mine-to-mill optimization by providing insights into drill & blast performance, material movement, crusher performance, inventory management, and blending strategies;
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, quantifying value, and developing analytical tools that enable better decision-making;
- Manage data, reporting, and systems projects from concept through implementation, including stakeholder engagement, testing, training, and adoption;
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of operational data while supporting the integration and enhancement of reporting and analytical systems.
What You Need To Succeed
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical discipline;
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, or similar analytics platforms;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with trend analysis, root cause analysis, and performance improvement initiatives;
- Ability to build effective relationships and communicate technical concepts to both operational and leadership stakeholders;
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment;
- Experience working with mining, industrial, manufacturing, or operational data environments is considered a strong asset;
- Familiarity with fleet management systems, historians, maintenance systems, or operational technology (OT) data sources is an asset.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
