Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Supervisor, you will be part of the Mobile Maintenance Department. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mobile equipment, contributing to the overall success of the operation. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement long-term maintenance PCR/Shutdowns strategies for mobile equipment to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Asset life cycle (Components): Create and manage a maintenance asset life cycle plan to ensure timely PCR/Overhauls.
- Coordination: Work closely with maintenance teams, engineers, coordinators, Short-term planners and operations to align maintenance PCR/shutdown activities with operational requirements.
- Budgeting: Assist in preparing budgets for maintenance PCR and track expenditures with the Analyst.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to industry regulations (Post-Mortem, kick off, KPI’s etc.) and company safety standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Initiate and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and reduce costs.
- Mentorship & Coverage: Provide guidance and support to short-term planners, ensuring their development and effectiveness. Serve as coverage during their vacation periods. Long-term planners will also be responsible for stepping in as the planner and reliability supervisor when needed.

What You Need To Succeed
- Trade, MMP Certification or equivalent professional work experience with maintenance work routines;
- Knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques;
- Exposure to Project Management tools and techniques;
- Experience: Previous experience in maintenance long-term or short-term planning for mobile equipment, ideally in an industrial or mining environment;
- Experience with maintenance of mobile mining equipment listed below:
- Hauling (798, 795F, 777F, 745C, 740B);
- Support Gear (24M, 16M, D11, D10, 992, 993);
- Welding (Boxes, Buckets, Blades);
- Technical Skills: Proficient in maintenance planning CMMS (JDE) and familiar with mobile equipment maintenance practices;
- Experience in work management practices and procedures;
- Detailed oriented with drive for continuous improvement;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Computer skills: MS Office, MS Project, Visio, PowerBI, Sharepoint.;
- Communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and coordination;
- Problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues;
- Familiarity with reliability programs within a mobile maintenance environment.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
