Health & Safety Manager - Large Construction Projects!
A leading international construction client of ours that takes on large, complex projects, is currently looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join them in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of work and a genuine commitment to creating a positive safety culture.
As the Health & Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the health and safety function on site(s), ensuring compliance with legislation, driving best practice, and fostering a proactive safety-first culture across the project.
You will work closely with project leadership, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, and provide operational support while championing continuous improvement in health, safety, wellbeing, and quality.
Essential
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects with the ability to influence teams at every level.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.
- IOSH membership (or equivalent professional body).
- Proven experience managing site safety teams or leading health and safety on construction projects.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in Health & Safety, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Training in behavioural safety or leadership coaching.
