Responsibilities
- Develop SP3D models to include foundations and structural steel layout based on verbal and rough sketches
- Produce high quality drawings from models and sketches using Smartsketch and Autocad drawing software
- Revise and update designs as required based on project changes and feedback
- Highly proficient in checking own work and coordinating work with related disciplines to avoid clashes
- Manages and incorporates electronic redlines from the design team per the established workflow
- Performs assigned work efficiently and effectively to maximize productivity
- Participate in project meetings and reviews as required
- Assist in the development of design standards and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in structural design, with a focus on oil & gas engineering projects
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, including AutoCAD and Smartplan 3D
- Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam software
- Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations for offshore construction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
