Your Impact
You will lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality People Services across the employee life cycle. Your work ensures data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a seamless HR service experience for employees and partners across Newmont.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Supervise and guide a team delivering HR operations and people services.
- Monitor and improve data quality, processing timelines, and end-user experience.
- Resolve issues related to HR data entry, workflows, and system errors.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and partner with Process Excellence teams.
- Support implementation of new service delivery standards, tools, and internal controls.
- Contribute to HR budget coordination, reporting, and invoice authorization.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Experience in HR Operations or Shared Services, including supervising or coaching a team.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and Fieldglass.
- Hands-on experience with employee life cycle processes and HR data management.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance, and HR service delivery metrics.
- Ability to analyze problems, improve processes, and maintain high service standards.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Your Work Environment
- You will work on a 5x2 roster in a remote capacity, with occasional travel to the mine site, in Santa Cruz province.
- You will be part of Newmont’s People Services team, working in a fast-paced, global shared-services environment. The role requires close collaboration with HR partners, Process Excellence teams, and internal stakeholders across multiple countries while supporting a culture of service, integrity, and continuous improvement.
