Purpose of Position:
This is a representative description of the role of FOMS Lead and does not represent a specific position. A FOMS Lead applies an understanding of FOMS structure and/or assessment processes within an assessable unit coupled with business knowledge to solve routine issues independently. This job role also demonstrates FOMS coordination and/or assessment leadership by collaborating on cross-functional teams to solve issues. A FOMS Lead develops depth of knowledge in specific FOMS systems (e.g. System 1, 2, or 11) based on business needs while gaining general understanding across all systems. An individual in this job role becomes the trusted FOMS technical advisor for the operating unit, Business Line, or project he/she supports. The Job Responsibilities shown below are not all required for specific positions depending on progression as FOMS Assessor or FOMS Execution Support. Example position titles in this Job Role include: Business Unit/Site/Project OIMS Coordinator, FOMS Assessment Advisor.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- As part of an assessment team, prepares observations and suggested improvements for inclusion in an assessment report, evaluates System status and effectiveness, and rates FOMS Systems
- Acts as a site coordinator for an external assessment
- Provides an overview of FOMS Assessment Process to internal or external assessment team member(s)
- Maintains FOMS SharePoint (or equivalent)
- Participates in one or more internal / external FOMS Assessment(s) as a team member
- Participates in an FOMS Coordinators Network as an active member (e.g., respond to collaboration items)
- Serves as a Systems Administrator (or equivalent assessable unit term) for Management Leadership and Commitment System, and / or Assessment and Improvement System
- Tracks and stewards follow-up action plan from an internal or external FOMS Assessment
- Provides FOMS Training for one or more System(s)
- Scans previous FOMS assessments and applies learnings for sites
- Serves as trusted advisor in fit for FOMS Implementation and Execution at sites
