Your impact
Reporting to the Superintendent Tailings & Water, the Advisor Tailings & Water will play a key role supporting the RDA Construction and Projects team through the delivery of high-quality business services, contract administration, financial control, procurement coordination and compliance support. You will ensure accurate and efficient administration of contracts and expenditure while supporting training, audit and workplace inspection processes across the department.
As part of our team you will
· Manage monthly finance reporting including project actuals, accruals, forecasting and cost allocation to ensure expenditure aligns with the Business Plan
· Lead and maintain the RDA Access Control and training systems including induction rollout, permit processing and training record management
· Manage progress claim files and oversee the approvals process for invoices, progress claims and service entry sheets to ensure contract compliance
· Coordinate department purchasing including requisitions, approvals, liaison with Supply Chain and closure of outstanding orders
· Prepare documentation to support contract implementation and variations
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of operating and capital budgets across project phases
Prerequisites for your success in the role
· Extensive experience in business administration, ideally within mining, major projects or construction
· Demonstrated experience in contract management, accounting, auditing or training coordination
· Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Law or equivalent experience
· Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
· High attention to detail and strong written documentation skills
· Advanced Microsoft Office capability
· Experience using SAP (essential )
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
· Full and unrestricted eligibility for employment in Australia.
Your work environment
Roster will be 5:2 4:3 based at the Boddington Mine site, spending a minimum 3 days per week on site with capacity to work the remainder remotely and will ideally suit applicants currently living in Boddington and surrounding townships, or Perth, Western Australia.
While on site accomodation and messing will be provided at the Boddington Mine site accomodation village.
