Your impact
The Environmental Technician is a key member of the Environmental Operations Team and will assist the Environmental Advisors in the coordination and implementation of environmental management programs at the Boddington Gold Mine.
You will actively support and apply the company’s continuous improvement principles and Environmental Policy. You will be undertaking environmental sampling and monitoring, maintaining and calibrating sampling equipment and assisting with environmental management programs.
About you
Ideally you will have knowledge of environmental monitoring best practice, sampling techniques, standards, statutory environmental obligations, processes, and systems.
You will be someone who is flexible in their approach and work routines and able to work effectively in a small team or individually. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Boddington Gold Mine is located in the SW region of WA and experiences diverse seasonal weather patterns with hot summers and wet and cold winters. An ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions is required. A Current Drivers Licence and ability to drive a manual 4WD vehicle is essential.
