Wood is recruiting for a Marine Coordinator to join our client Marine Team in Equatorial Guinea.
The Marine Department ensures safe and efficient utilization of the Punta Europa Marine Terminal for the loading of condensate, propane and butane. It also, provides marine expertise to other functional groups such as other internal departments (e.g. marketing, production, drilling, accounting), EG Government departments, (e.g. Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons Inspectors, GEPetrol, Customs), and support companies such as independent surveyors.
Location: Equatorial Guinea
Rotation \ Work Pattern: 5 weeks on \ 5 weeks off, 7-day week \ 12-hour day
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
The Marine Department ensures safe and efficient utilization of the Punta Europa Marine Terminal for the loading of condensate, propane and butane. It also, provides marine expertise to other functional groups such as other internal departments (e.g. marketing, production, drilling, accounting), EG Government departments, (e.g. Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons Inspectors, GEPetrol, Customs), and support companies such as independent surveyors.
- Promotes Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
- Responsible for Terminal operations: pilotage, mooring, tanker loading and maintenance of marine assets (including the development of maintenance procedures and scheduling in conjunction with the maintenance department).
- Acts as a liaison for export vessel scheduling with Company and other client Vessel Coordinators to ensure timely arrival and departure of tankers for all products with minimum berthing delays, in all areas covered by Business Unit.
- Coordinates and monitors the production of fiscal documentation in an efficient and timely manner, and maintains company records of the same.
- Responsible for upholding a safe, efficient and cost effective Marine and Terminal operation, meeting Company HES performance standards, and operational goals. All the while updating or developing new lifting procedures for the safe and environmentally sound loading of Condensate and LPG.
- Maintains a daily record of all export products, production forecasts and remaining capacity of shore tanks.
- Field marine support, working with logistics, offshore, production personnel to support ongoing operations.
- Provision of marine technical advice to EG management, drilling organization, and other internal departments.
- Develops and maintains Marine Terminal specific documentation.
- Monitoring of spares and consumable inventories.
- Keeps the monthly time sheet, fuel consumption records for the Terminal support craft.
- Acts as liaison for the ISPS whilst on board the export tankers.
- Performs and record bunker deliveries to support craft.
- Conducts vessel pre-charter, on and off-hire inspections of Company hired vessels.
- Provides support on the export tankers vetting process and conducts export tankers Port Clearance for the Terminal in conjunction with Marine Assurance Department based in Houston.
- Assists in compilation of JSA’s, Scope of Work for any Terminal maintenance activities.
- Participates in technical training programs that are developed and executed for to guarantee a high level of job competence.
- Provides feedback and lessons learned knowledge.
- Supports Company Integration efforts by personally committing to actively participate in the mentoring and coaching activities designed to enhance the skills, competencies, and performance of the National employees working in your assigned area of responsibility.

Certificate of Competency Class II/2 (STCW 2018) – Unlimited.
Dangerous Cargo Endorsements Oil, Chemical, Gas.
Preferred Pilotage Training Up To AFRAMAX Size Tankers
Several years relevant experience as Master / Marine Pilot / Berthing Master
General Marine industry experience
English - full proficiency (Written & orally)
