Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Early Talent, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment to attract and hire qualified candidates in alignment with organizational goals. This role partners closely with hiring managers, develops sourcing strategies, builds strong talent pipelines, and ensures a positive and compliant candidate experience. You will be responsible for recruiting for positions for the Head Office/Corporate division and for all positions in Construction and Exploration. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Responsible for end-to-end recruitment, including job intake, job posting creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and pre-employment verifications, offer facilitation to the onboarding stage of new employees.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies through job boards, ATS (Applicant Tracking System), social platforms, referrals, community networks, and career fairs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, competencies, and workforce needs
- Provide guidance to hiring managers and hiring members on interview best practices, including structured or behavioural interview formats.
- Maintain ATS (Applicant Tracking System) data integrity and recruitment metrics; report on hiring trends, pipelines, time-to-fill, and candidate experience insights.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws, privacy regulations, and fair hiring practices.
- Represent the employer brand at industry events, job fairs, and community engagement activities.
- Assist in ideation to improve current processes, and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) improvements
- Ad hoc project work as required
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
- 5 years experience of full cycle recruiting experience (in house or agency)
- Strong experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), sourcing tools, and social recruiting platforms
- Experience with targeted selection interview methods
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills within the scope of your role
- Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and fair hiring practices.
- Exposure to AI recruitment technologies and an interest in leveraging innovative tools to improve hiring efficiency would be an asset

Your Work Schedule
Schedule: 5 days of work, followed by 2 days for rest; a combination of tele-working with presence at our offices. Ideally the person will be based in Toronto, Head Office and may travel to sites.
