About Cadia
Our Cadia Valley Operation in New South Wales is situated about 25 kilometers from Orange and 250 kilometers west of Sydney. Cadia produces gold doré bars from a gravity circuit and gold-rich copper concentrates from a flotation circuit. The operation includes the Cadia East Mine which is globally renowned for its use of block caving, a large-scale underground mining method.

Who we’re looking for
The Analyst EUC will ensure the seamless operation and security of professional applications and end-user devices by supporting implementation, customization, and maintenance activities, while providing technical support and continually enhancing digital data services based on user feedback.
You will be proficient in diagnosing and resolving application and device issues as well as strong skills in maintaining and supporting laptops, cell phones, video conference rooms, desktops, and mobile applications.
The Analyst will be knowledgeable in implementing security protocols and measures to protect end-user devices from potential threats, also including asset tracking, where maintenance of accurate records ensure efficient management of resources.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform maintenance and support for laptops, cellphones, video conference rooms, desktops, and mobile applications.
- Ensure the smooth operation of printers, scanners, copiers, audio-visual equipment, on-site server rooms, video systems, electronic displays, and meeting room equipment.
- Address technology issues promptly and efficiently to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of professional applications, ensuring a positive user experience.
- Administer and handle user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Monitor the security and integrity of end-user devices and data by implementing security measures and protocols.
- Participate in the configuration and maintenance of end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Gather and act on feedback to continually improve digital data services and end-user support.
- Assist with site components of regional or global technology projects and contribute as needed.
- Support vendors and contractors to ensure site stability and meet service delivery standards.
Then ideal candidate will have an awareness of IT Service management best practice and familiarity with preventative maintenance strategies for technology equipment.
You will also possess the following:
- Qualifications in Information Technology/ Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring and maintaining end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Ability to administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Understanding of end-user computing technologies and support processes.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including laptops, cellphones, video conference systems, and mobile applications.
- Advanced proficiency in implementing security measures and protocols for end-user devices.
