Job Purpose:
To lead and govern training operations for Maaden Aluminum by planning and executing site training activities, ensuring mandatory compliance readiness (including mobile equipment operator certification training facilitation), and enabling workforce capability through disciplined delivery of IDP/JQP/English Placement services, assessment governance, and ORT/ARGOS readiness support across Ras Al Khair and Al Ba’itha.
Key Accountabilities:
• Lead annual and rolling training operations plan and calendar for Ras Al Khair and Al Ba’itha, aligned to BU priorities and HR governance.
• Manage end-to-end training operations: request intake, nominations, scheduling, delivery logistics, attendance validation, and record completeness.
• Provide governance and performance oversight of the section’s workstreams: ORT/ARGOS HR readiness, IDP/JQP/English Placement services, mine training coordination, assessment system governance, and EHSS/compliance training.
• Act as primary interface with business stakeholders to translate capability needs into executable plans, manage escalations and trade-offs.
• Ensure robust administration and control of assessment activities through the Assessment Systems Specialist (question bank/QMP governance, exam integrity, access controls, results reporting, and license renewals).
• Ensure mandatory training compliance readiness through the EHSS & Compliance Training Specialist, maintain matrix accuracy, close gaps, and prepare audit evidence, including governance of mobile equipment operator certification training facilitation (initial, refresher, and validity tracking).
• Manage vendors and service providers (training, testing, systems) ensuring SLAs, quality, and cost discipline in coordination with procurement policies.
• Own training performance reporting (KPIs, dashboards, and status updates), ensure data quality and ‘single source of truth’ reporting.
• Lead and develop the team: priorities, coaching, performance management, SOPs, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Engineering, Education, or related field.
• Knowledge of training operations, compliance training governance, and stakeholder management in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools, familiarity with LMS/assessment platforms is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
• 6–10 years of experience in training operations/L&D/capability programs in an industrial/manufacturing/mining environment.
• Experience leading teams or supervising training operations is preferred.
• Experience supporting ORT/start-up projects is an advantage.
