Your Impact
As a Specialist, Source to Contract, you will support Newmont’s global procurement and commercial systems by configuring, maintaining, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba solutions. Your work will ensure efficient sourcing, accurate data flow, strong system performance, and reliable Supplier Lifecycle Management processes that enable compliant, high-quality procurement operations.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day incidents in Ariba, S/4HANA, and middleware (ABAP/CPI), providing both short-term fixes and long-term solutions.
- Manage complex contract integrations, including goods, consignment, and large service frameworks with multiple child lines.
- Update templates and configure Ariba workflows to support system and business improvements.
- Monitor Ariba Network (AN), Integration Manager (IM), and CIG failures; analyze data and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee S/4HANA and Ariba configuration for Source to Contract and Supplier Lifecycle Management (including risk).
- Maintain master data replication and ensure system integrity, user access compliance, and performance.
- Partner with Supply Chain leadership to align digital procurement strategy with business goals.
- Support and execute IT projects related to Source to Contract, ensuring quality delivery and cross-functional alignment.
- Provide support and guidance to end users, ensuring effective use of systems across Commercial teams.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help strengthen governance across S2C systems.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience implementing or configuring SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba (Source to Contract, SLP, Risk).
- Expertise in integrations with SAP (ABAP/CPI/CIG), including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Advanced experience with large-scale distributed systems and data migration across SAP modules.
- Solid understanding of sourcing, contracts, and supplier processes.
- Strong project management skills, with exposure to Agile/Scrum; PMP preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Familiarity with mining, construction, utilities, or heavy industry is preferred.
Your Work Environment
- The preferred location for candidates is near our corporate headquarters, in Denver, Colorado; however highly qualified candidates near our regional offices, or any of our site locations, will be considered.
- Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.
- The listed salary range applies to positions based in Colorado. Compensation may vary for candidates hired in other locations.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $106,200- 141,600. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
