Your Impact
As an Analyst, Structural Engineering, you will help strengthen the integrity and reliability of Newmont’s global assets by collecting, analyzing, and organizing structural data to support engineering reviews, risk identification, and decision-making. Your work ensures safe operations and contributes to our enterprise-wide asset integrity program.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Collect, validate, and organize structural integrity data from inspections, site reports, drawings, and systems.
- Analyze structural condition, performance, and risk data to support engineering decisions.
- Prepare technical inputs, calculations, summaries, and documentation for integrity assessments.
- Draft engineering recommendations aligned to approved standards and templates.
- Support structural audits, reviews, and maturity assessments by developing data packs and draft technical content.
- Maintain integrity registers, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Assist with investigations into structural incidents by gathering facts and preparing technical summaries.
- Work closely with site teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to obtain information and complete deliverables.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in data and escalate them appropriately.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Degree or studies in Materials, Civil, or Structural Engineering (preferred).
- Foundational experience applying engineering principles within standards and systems.
- Working knowledge of structural or civil engineering concepts, technical documentation, and data analysis.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CAD and SAP PM exposure are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and willingness to ask questions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams and disciplines.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and speak up about issues.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Your Work Environment
- Based ideally near the corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado; highly qualified candidates near regional offices or site locations will be considered.
- Work includes office-based tasks, virtual collaboration, and periodic travel to global sites.
- Requires coordination across global, regional, and site teams within multiple time zones.
- The listed salary range applies to Colorado-based roles; compensation may vary in other locations.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $86,500- 115,300. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
