Reporting to the Superintendent, Operations Center, as a Dispatcher Operations Centre - Mine, you will
- Collaborate with Mine Advisor and Supervisors in order to prioritize and coordinate mine production requirements by identifying equipment /operators to achieve the plan
- Provide continuous production improvement through dispatch system monitoring and effective allocation of equipment and personal
- Provide consistency between shifts through accurate dispatch setup and by informing the oncoming shift of the current pit set up
- Monitoring and reporting on operational performance and providing feedback where required
- Manage the dispatch screen exceptions ensuring data integrity
- Ensuring accurate data is entered into the dispatch system for all equipment through correct and prompt use of operating delay codes, stand-by codes and down codes
- Utilize dispatch to provide a continuous feedback loop through various departments (Maintenance, Mine Operations, Technical Services, and Ore Delivery) to optimize ore production and waste handling
- Work collaboratively within the broader Operations Centre team to optimize across the value chain

What You’ll Bring

- Minimum of 3 years of experience, in open pit operations with mining operational experience
- Self-motivated, strong skills to structure and organize work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
