Who we are looking for!
As a Network Engineer you will step into a role where your technical expertise directly shapes how our systems perform, evolve, and scale. You won’t just maintain infrastructure, you will collaborate with passionate teammates and cross-functional partners to design and implement smart solutions, optimize network usage, support new technology rollouts, and ensure smooth, secure operations. You will play a key role in internal audits and keep critical deliverables moving to the right teams, helping us stay ahead in a fast-moving digital environment.
Key Work Activities
- Implementing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, LTE, Microwave and mobile tower environments.
- Supporting network upgrades, new implementations, and site base projects, ensuring strong performance, reliability, and alignment with operational needs.
- Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and working with vendors/contractors to resolve problems efficiently and maintain services standards.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, supporting internal audits, and upholding network security measures to protect systems and data.
- Collaborating proactively with your team by share ideas, asking questions, raising issues and seeking feedback.
Capabilities Required
- Tertiary qualification in Information technology, network engineering or a related field, supported by substantial industry experience, ideally within the mining sector.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, LTE, Microwave, and mobile tower networks, including experience with network monitoring and optimisation tools.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, industry standards, compliance requirements, and experience conducting audits, performance reviews and testing.
- Proven capability in planning, implementing, documenting, and optimizing network solutions, with the ability to improve processes through practical experience and problem solving.
- Highly effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams, build strong relationships, listen, adapt behaviours, and contribute positively to team outcomes.
