Job Description
Redpath Mining is seeking motivated Service Crew Operators to join our underground teams across the Norseman region. Working on a 7/7 FIFO roster, you’ll support essential underground services to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain underground services including:
- Vent bags
- Water & airline services
- Grout lines
- Pump installations and moves
- Services for development headings
- Assist with construction tasks such as mesh, bolt and plate installation
- Operate underground vehicles and equipment safely
- Conduct pre-start checks and complete safety documentation
- Set up and maintain work areas to a high standard
- Support production and development teams as required
- Perform workplace inspections (Take 5’s, JSAs)
- Report hazards, incidents and near misses immediately
- Uphold Redpath’s strong safety culture: Safety – First, Last and Always
Qualifications
- Previous underground service crew experience(preferred)
- Manual driver’s licence
- Current First Aid & CPR (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to follow clear instructions and work safely at all times
- Strong team attitude and communication skills
- Good level of fitness for hands‑on manual work
- Reliability, initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement
